The Schizophrenics & Pschotics Liberation Front (SPLF)
formed to create these web pages by concensus of its founders:
four Australians who met @RainbowGathering, Tasmania 1999.
There we surprised ourselves to discover a feeling of alienation in, 
of all places, this hippie NeWage environment.
We had more in common with respect to perceptions of "insanity".

RainBow and the like are in danger of becoming 
a romantic pining for a time that never existed...
of being reduced to a very Western fantasy of the noble savage.
And cynical reactionaries run the risk of becoming cold, alienated individuals.

Don't get us wrong. 
"Fluffiness" is an important attitude for maintaining human warmth and
spontaneity. It is just that we want to ensure it lives happily alongside 
an extremely open intellect...
Open to a paradigm shift... into uncharted territory. 
Scary stuff. Rewarding stuff.

The OmNi electronic mail-list is open to anyone wishing to discuss
the doctrine espoused on the SPLF pages.
It is on this list that further activism will be organised.
For now it serves as a focus for solidarity.
