Peaking at #26 on the pop music charts in 1976 was Anarchy in The UK accompanied by an uproar in the media and ushering in the DIY age of music. Fast forward to the the London Riots with Cher Lloyd shooting up the UK charts unashamedly imploring us to "Count that money, get your game up". Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren considered Anarchy in the UK "a call to arms to the kids who believe that rock and roll was taken away from them. It's a statement of self rule, of ultimate independence." Cher Lloyd's career OTOH was ushered in by the X-Factor and iPhones.
