Permaculture garden
If the proliferations of magazines, radio and TV programs devoted to the subject is any indication, gardening is one of the most popular hands-on activities in Australia today. Everyone enjoys sitting in gardens but many of us have reservations about designing our own garden and all the hard work involved in maintaining it. Well permaculture may be the answer. According to Jenny Allen, after an intitial period of planning and physical work, the garden practically looks after itself, and she's written a book about the development of her own garden in Maleny in Queensland.
