1994 INDIA - My first trip to Asia in 1994 and it really did feel like an acid trip; alone with no guidebook I truly went nuts at times, and loved it so much that I got addicted to "cultural shock". But you can only get shocked for so long, so am now easing myself into the appreciation of more subtle experiences. Maybe that is what they mean by "getting old" huh?
